The London Carriage Works is a multi award winning restaurant serving modern British dishes complemented by the use of local, fresh and seasonal produce.
The London Carriage Works acquired its name when during external renovation works the original company name became apparent in the stonework. The company was a coach and carriage builders and built around 1866 in a pervading fashion of the day, the Venetian palazzo.
The restaurant is sister to hope street hotel and is open to the public seven days a week, serving lunch, afternoon tea, supper, dinner and cocktails in-between. In house they also cater for many varied events from wedding suppers to meetings and corporate dining.

The London Carriage Works is dedicated to sourcing the very best ingredients available.
The prix fixe menu concentrates on the fantastic produce on the restaurants doorstep within a 25 mile radius of The London Carriage Works. The food miles are minimal, the flavours and quality are there for all to taste, and giving an honest feel of what they believe is a true market regional menu. This will of course change in content as Mother Nature tells us throughout the year.

Private Events at The London Carriage Works
TLCW has a variety of areas available for private parties, meetings, screenings and events. The private rooms are flexible in their format and as each event is tailored to your taste and requirements a smart, formal boardroom can become a sumptuous private dining room.
In 2009 they launched 2 impressive, new meeting rooms. The 5th floor meeting room and the 6th floor boardroom are located on the top floors of the hotel. Both these rooms have private terraces and huge floor to ceiling windows allowing natural light to flood in and affording the most wonderful views across Liverpool and beyond.
Rooms are fitted with plasma screens or projection screens, and have wireless connections, but it is the creative involvement and attention to detail that is Hope Street Hotel's real advantage. Click here for more information.
